Our Venue in Pontypool
The Wales Slingshot Association has clubs throughout Wales. Our home club, located in the picturesque countryside of Pontypool, features a 60-shot practice course and a 50-target hunter course where we hold regular practice days and host Welsh league shoots.
Additionally, our club is the proud home of the Catty Precision Team.
We have taken great care to maintain the beauty of our surroundings by cleaning up the area and removing all litter. We have also cleared overgrown areas to encourage wildlife to return.
Bird and squirrel feeders are strategically placed throughout the area, and benches and rubbish bins have been installed for the convenience of our members. While we do empty the bins regularly, we encourage all members to take their rubbish home with them and take pride in keeping our countryside clean and tidy.
Our association actively participates in community projects, and our members are always willing to lend a hand to the local community.
At our club, we have a strict policy against shooting wildlife or endangering any species. Safety is our top priority, and all members are expected to adhere to these rules.
Our vision is to elevate the sport’s prominence and unite enthusiasts and promote a safe place for slingshooting for all while engaging with our local community
